The good news: At this point, it was the best episode of the season.

You know what's great about this episode? (Apart from the fact that did not involve ridiculous subplots bloated zombies trapped in the well?) And 'because of this episode was about Daryl.

Daryl is undoubtedly the most interesting character in this program. And the credit goes to Norman Reedus to advance to move into a real human being when Daryl Daryl could easily have only played as a racist redneck prototype. Speaking of racist rednecks prototypes, Merle is back.

Well, more or less. Merle appears in a hallucination mushrooms Daryl improved (from this point referred to as "MushMerle") may be the most racist hallucination ever designed. Remember in "Top Secret" when Val Kilmer's character, Nick, a dream that somehow missed a semester of school (no joke, years after graduating, I always sleep at least once a month) wake up and discover that he is tortured by the Germans in the East? And it's so relieved that is not in high school, he says, "Thank God"? That's how I feel if I woke up to see a zombie chewing on my shoe instead of MushMerle call me a "cunt" and the abandonment of racial slurs.

I have mixed feelings about Daryl misidentification as a walker of the group. On the one hand, there was a little more done, considering that all members of the group was booked? And the fact that this particular group seems to be quite prone to accidents and injuries? On the other hand, have no more Reedus embellished his "Walker go." I mean, I get it, Daryl has been through a lot! He fell on a hill ... twice! But the scene has memories of Jerry Seinfeld on foot falls asleep, which earned him angry Leaping Larry. I guess it's better than being shot in the head. (I'd really like to see a study on the number of people in real life, there was gunfire, only to be "grazed" vs. the number of times that happens in real life.) Anyway, I'm glad Daryl seems fine (although the rest of the group seems to be losing their concern for Daryl the poor when they all saw this doll stupid).

It remains to be seen whether Daryl MushMerle advice to abandon the rest of the group. So far, Daryl seems to ignore this advice. Does not even seem to take to get shot in the head in person. He also made a joke! I love Daryl.

This episode is the first time this season cliffhanger episode that left me really want to know what happens next. Put it this way: AMC will send screener DVDs every two weeks, two episodes of each screening. So I have a DVD is the next episode, sits next to me on my desk as I write this. It 'fun of me! Because he knows that I do not want to watch it! But I can not, until the review is finished, because it would spoil the fun. Let me pretend that I do not know why I'm hiking are all stored in the barn that Glenn accidentally tripped over, or do I have to admit that I do not know what then takes the speculation fun. (Of course, if you read the comic, I assume you already know.)
